Halloween 2016

A Daddy with a flashlight, Mollee with a "scary face", Tavis not wanting to participate, Daegan as a hunter, Capps as a Knight, and Mac as Thor.

Sweet Sixteen for Mollee

Mollee turned 16, which is crazy, but it has been a good year and we are so excited to see the beauty lady she is becoming.

I went and ate lunch with her and she had received balloons from Uncle Daniel and Aunt Heather.
Her wish, instead of a party, was eating downtown with a few friends and hang out downtown and then have them sleepover.
So, Aubrey and Sarah Kate joined us for dinner.
  And ice cream.
And time to hang out at the park.
Sunday we celebrated with her birthday buddy, Uncle JR.

No driver's license yet, still working on getting a permit, but that is ok. No stress about it!

Having Teenagers

I was a little nervous about the thought of raising teenagers. I did great with the toddlers, loved the 5 and 6 year olds, but I was nervous.

We have our problems, and I will not lie, we fight. But, I absolutely love, love, love being the mom of these crazy kids. Here we were waiting in the van for our photographer to show up for family photos - their forced gift to me for Christmas. I was trying to take a picture of their goofiness.
And Tavis was taking a selfie of me taking a selfie.
Mac isn't a teenager, but he acts like he thinks he is one - always in the mix.
A quick shot on the way out - next to the Blue Bull or Purple Rhino or, whatever it is.

Townes and Peter

We had the privilege of having Townes and Peter with us for Fall Break. Picked up Peter on Friday morning and we did Homecoming activities all together Friday. Saturday just played. Sunday was the Church Picnic. Monday and Tuesday - all fun!!

It was great! Townes and Mac never fought. Peter was awesome. I'm so glad we got to do it!

Legos!
 Breakfast!
 Peter sleeping on Daegan's floor.
 Books, books, and books.

Mac and Townes - 10 days apart

Homecoming Football Game

School Wide Charger Picnic

I was able to take the day off, hang out with Peter (who is staying with us during Fall Break) and go eat lunch with Mac and Townes (who is also staying with us during Fall Break).
I love the tradition that the HS football players come over to the Elementary field and eat lunch with the little guys. This year, they were handing out footballs and encouraging the little kids to have the football players sign them. So cute!
Tavis and Peter bonded and hung out much of the long weekend

Theme Day: Old McDonald's Farm

Capps wanted to be cow (with a tag on his ear like the Eldridge cows)
 Mac was a pig
 Older kids just dressed "country"
 Everyone rockin' Day 1!

SEC Saturdays

I love a good rival. And, even tho I am sad that not all my boys say "Roll Tide", it is fun. Especially when my Crimson Tide continues to rule the SEC.

I emptied the dishwasher the other day, which I don't do often, and this made me smile. Variety!
Then Tavis and I went shopping today and the amount of comments made to us always make me laugh and happy to live in the friendly South. At 3:30 today, Alabama and Tennessee played each other. ROLL TIDE! I was actually nervous that it was going to be a close game. Tennessee has been doing much better this year. But, alas, they stunk and Alabama killed them. 49-10.
Too bad for Daegan, Georgia got beat by Vandy. Now, that is embarrassing.

Homecoming 2016

Last year, this girl didn't go to Homecoming, despite many date requests from guys. This year, she went with Aubrey, just to have fun. And fun, she had!

 What a beauty!
My other daughter, Aubrey - we always love to have her in the house.
