Fun Friday on the Northshore

Donuts - glazed, bacon and pancakes, iced with sprinkles, chocolate iced, strawberry, banana pudding, and iced cake.
Walking the bridge we saw this lady waving at the boat below
We always have to make it to the other side of the bridge to give this guy a high five!
And, Subway and a carousel ride for old-time (when they were little) sake.
 A good, and hot, day!

Littles Sleepover

The "littles" came to our house and the "bigs" went to the Harris'.  I am sure I did much better in this trade-off.

Mollee's Wednesdays with Tracy

Mollee has been meeting on Wednesday Nights with Tracy.  Ironically, when I was in Middle School, I used to meet with Tracy too - but she was much younger and she had a different last name. :)

Here are some pics from their last adventure, that I thought I would keep here:

Child Labor

I recently started selling Rodan + Fields (let me know if you need any information...shameless plug).  I am really excited about this and then kids have been excited and encouraging too.  I think they see something I am happy and excited about, rather than stressed and worried about, and that is probably refreshing.

They keep asking what they can do to help?  so sweet

Today, I thought - well, maybe they can put some samples together for me?  So, I had Daegan and Capps put some together.  And it satisfied their urge to help.
I figured it was better than them telling people in the grocery store they need help with their wrinkles?  Not really a good opening...

Daeg Running

Daegan decided he wanted to run and learn to be fit.  He decided it as his soccer season began to wind down.  So, even as summer has come, he has set his watch alarm and got up each morning and gone for a run.

I don't like for him to go alone, so he has forced a brother to go, he has taken the dog, and I go with him more and more often - which I appreciate the motivation.

He is amazing.  Actually, he never ceases to amaze me.  When he sets his mind to do something, he just makes it happen.

He has had me teach him how to lift weights to tone (only 3 lb weights, nothing drastic).  He has had me teach him ab exercises and leg exercises and he has made a calendar to pick a muscle group each day after his run.

I asked him "why"?  I was just curious.  He said he knew he wasn't the best soccer player and he would have to try out since he is headed to Middle School and he just wanted to be ready.

Should I tell him the season doesn't start until February?
