A blur!

Christmas came and went in a blur. I did post pictures. Christmas Eve morning at my parents was absolutely chaotic. We are gonna need to weed out grandkids or something? :) Opening presents and then brunch was the best idea we've had yet.

Christmas Eve night at Jason's parents was full of opening boxes, adding batteries and figuring out toys - glad to have Pops and Uncle Daniel there to help with that and assemble gifts, too many gifts!

Christmas Eve was a long day, but it was all worth it when we had Christmas Day all to ourselves. The kids played with their new toys until Jason and I rolled out of bed. I love having Christmas morning in our PJs even if it means some "rough" pictures of bed head and fat pants (Jason's word for PJ pants).

And to top off our wonderful day, we got snow! Five Inches. I got out of my PJs briefly to go sledding with the kids and have a snowball fight, which may or may not have resulted in me totally wiping out on the ice chasing Daegan - that boy has no mercy, even for mommy, and he was gonna pay!

It was a great Christmas that contains many, many memories!!
The kids have been so distracted with all their new toys. It has been great. We've been playing a lot of Operation, we played Life once, the kids have been painting and coloring like crazy (Capps' big gift was a huge art set), lots of Legos around, Bionicles, puzzles, new books to look at and new movies to watch.

And today, as if we needed more stuff, we went to Target for the kids to spend their Christmas money. Two hours. That is how long it took to get there, get the groceries I needed and then let the kids peruse the toy aisle. I am proud to say everyone got something off the clearance rack. Don't you just love Target Clearance?!

The boys found Ben10 Lego/Bionicle people -always perfect when they get the same thing and they can play with together
Mollee got supplies to go with her new My Little Pony
And Mac got a Tow-Mater truck.

Unfortunately, I did not get a nap!

Gifts from the kids

From Mollee - a snowman! (you never know what you are gonna get when they ask you to send in a old black sock)From Capps - a hand print wreath

From Tavis - a poster/place mat with a letter to Mom and Dad

"Dear Mom and Dad, thank you for being such wonderful parents to me. I've learned so much from you....If I could do anything, I would blow up a house that is vacant.....I wish I could buy you a new car....When I grow up, I hope to be a spy....Merry Christmas!"

From Daegan - a snowflake ornament with a picture of Daegan in the middle, which I missed getting a picture of before packing up Christmas!

Christmas Morning!

The kids woke up and just played with their gifts from yesterday until Jason and I woke up. They were very patient! Jason and I stayed up too late watching 'Despicable Me', without the kids! Can you believe we got a White Christmas?
Being creative and sleding on a diaper boxCapps doesn't do cold and wet so he made a snowman out of play-dohI love when the kids are distracted all day with new toys(even if it has to do with riding scooters in the house) Now it is 3:45 and we have a bunch of new movies to watch, Toy Story 3, Shrek 4, How to train your dragon, Surf's Up, Despicable Me. OK, maybe not all today!

but maybe?
